The RPi-ADS1115 ADC Module is a high-precision 16-bit analog-to-digital converter designed specifically to expand the Raspberry Pi’s ability to read analog signals. Because Raspberry Pi boards lack native analog input pins, this module provides an essential interface for connecting analog sensors such as joysticks, potentiometers, thermistors (NTC), temperature sensors, dust sensors, and other analog devices.

At the core of the module is the ADS1115 chip, a high-resolution ADC in a compact MSOP-10 package. It communicates with the Raspberry Pi through a fully compatible I2C serial interface, allowing simple integration into Python, C, and Arduino-style environments. With four selectable I2C addresses, multiple ADS1115 modules can operate on the same bus without conflict.

The RPi-ADS1115 ADC Module supports 4 single-ended channels or 2 differential inputs, along with a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) ranging from 2/3× to 16×, enabling accurate measurement of small voltage signals.
