The Electret Microphone Amplifier Module with MAX4466 is a high-performance, low-noise microphone breakout board designed for Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and other microcontroller projects.

This module features the Maxim MAX4466 op-amp, a precision amplifier built specifically for audio applications. With adjustable gain via a trimmer potentiometer (25x to 125x), you can fine-tune sensitivity to suit a wide variety of audio projects.

Unlike cheaper microphone modules, the MAX4466 provides low noise, excellent power supply rejection, and clean audio output, making it perfect for sound sampling, audio analysis, voice recognition, and sound-reactive projects (FFT, music visualization, etc.).

How to Use

Connections:
- VCC → 2.4V–5VDC (use the quietest supply available, e.g., 3.3V on Arduino)
- GND → Ground
- OUT → Connect to microcontroller ADC pin or audio input device
Output Signal:
- Signal is DC-biased at VCC/2.
- For AC-coupled audio devices, insert a 100µF capacitor between OUT and input.
Gain Adjustment:
- Use the trimmer potentiometer on the back to set desired gain (25x–125x).
